The Dutch Cricketers’ Association (DCA) was established in 2020 to represent the collective views and interests of Dutch cricketers (members) and to play its role in ensuring the growth of cricket within The Netherlands.
The Netherlands cricket team has been a leading associate cricket nation for generations, regularly performing on the world stage and bridging the gap between associate and full member nations. In more recent times, the Dutch Men’s cricket team has won back-to-back ICC Global T20 Qualifiers to reach the main stage of the tournament. The team is currently competing in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League (2020-2022), a stepping-stone to qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup, consisting of the World’s top 13 One day teams.
The Players have been, and will continue to be, a central part of the success and growth of the game in The Netherlands. The establishment of the DCA represents a landmark moment for the Dutch game and will ensure a more professional and supportive environment, benefitting the game in The Netherlands and on the world stage.
The DCA looks forward to working in collaboration with the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) and other stakeholders to enhance cricket in The Netherlands.
